A huge part of making the decision to place your child in someone else’s care is trust. The trust that they will love and care for your child in the best way possible and also trust in the educational system that you have chosen the right establishment to nurture your child’s learning and developmental needs.
You are not alone in making this decision. As a daycare nursery we are regularly inspected by both Education Scotland and also the Care Inspectorate. The purpose of these inspections is to ensure that we are meeting the correct standards of care in line with the National Care Standards and also the National Curriculum for education. These guidelines underpin everything we do to ensure your child is in a safe environment that provides all the right learning and development opportunities. Click on the links to the right for copies of both the Care Standards and the most recent inspection report.
Within the nursery we also have our own quality assurance system in place to monitor codes of practice and ensure we are continually improving our standards and quality of service and “doing our best”. We have an internal training coordinator who works closely with the staff should we identify areas for improvement and both the owner and the manager are committed to ensuring high standards are maintained at all times. As the quote says “Excellence is not a skill, it is a habit”.
